Race Report

RACE-3 AUSTRALIAN JOCKEY CLUB GOODWILL TROPHY RATING 85-65 (CLASS 2) 1200 METRES (131)
On jumping TEST OF TIME (C W CHOI) and PERFECT STRIKE (C SEGEON) were crowded between NITTAN EXPRESS (APPRENTICE J PESCUISO) and SUPREME BEST (K W LEONG) which shifted out.
GOLDEN BULLET (LEI KIN MENG), CHATER LAMINA (W T PAO) and LITTLE MAGIC (W L HO) were a little slow to begin.
Near the 900 metres MACAU WARRIOR (K L LEI) which was over racing, steadied away from the heels of SUPREME BEST (K W LEONG) which shifted in. Jockey K W LEONG the rider of SUPREME BEST was issued with a reprimand.
Approaching the first turn near 700 metres, TEST OF TIME (C W CHOI) raced tight between LITTLE MAGIC (W L HO) and MR SPORTSMAN (APPRENTICE C F WONG) which shifted outwards around the heels of NITTAN EXPRESS (APPRENTICE J PESCUISO).
GOLDEN BULLET (LEI KIN MENG) raced wide throughout.
Near the 400 metres MR SPORTSMAN (APPRENTICE C F WONG) which was improving shifted outwards across the heels of LITTLE MAGIC (W L HO) and became unbalanced.
LITTLE MAGIC (W L HO) commenced to hang inwards near the 300 metres and shortly after passing the 200 metres shifted inwards hampering HAPPY WANDERER (L DUARTE). LITTLE MAGIC then continued to hang in for the remainder of the race. Jockey W L HO the rider of LITTLE MAGIC was issued with a reprimand.
Subsequent to the race, swab samples were taken from MACAU WARRIOR (K L LEI) and SUPREME BEST (K W LEONG).
