Race Report

RACE-7 THE ACTIVE BO BO RATING 85-65 (CLASS 2) 1200 METRES (308)
GOLDEN BULLET (K H YU) stood flat foot at the start and lost considerable ground.
Shortly after the start MR SPORTSMAN (R B WOODWORTH) blundered.
Near the 800 metres GOLDEN BULLET (K H YU) improved up onto the heels of LURU (P U WONG) and had to be steadied.
HAPPY GENERAL (K M CHIN) raced wide throughout.
SIMSHAN PEGASUS (K W LEONG) hung out for the majority of the race.
Approaching the 100 metres NITTAN'S SPIRIT (P H CHAN) was momentarily inconvenienced by LURU (P U WONG) which shifted out slightly.
After the race the Veterinary Surgeon reported that KNIFE EDGE (APPRENTICE J PESCUISO) had cast its left fore plate and SHOWMAN (APPRENTICE C F WONG) was found to be lame in the left foreleg.
A post veterinary examination of SIMSHAN PEGASUS (K W LEONG) failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
Subsequent to the race, swab samples were taken from DR SWEET (F DURSO) and HAPPY GENERAL (K M CHIN).
