Race Report

RACE-2 THE DESERT DAWN (TURF) RATING 60-30 (CLASS 3&4) 1800 METRES (2)
CHARITY CASE (W T PAO) jumped awkwardly.
Racing over the crossing at the 1400 metres LAUGHING WORLD (N K CHAN) ducked in resulting in GLOBAL ONE (A CALDER) being taken onto the running rail having to check. CHARITY CASE (W T PAO), ORIENTAL STAR (W SMITH) and KAIBO (H LAM) which were following were all checked in consequence. Trainer K W CHAN was informed that a warning had been placed on LAUGHING WORLD.
In the middle stages VIKING EAGLE (APPRENTICE M CANGAS) over raced.
When under pressure after the 300 metres VIKING EAGLE (APPRENTICE M CANGAS) hung in and proved difficult to ride out.
KAIBO (H LAM) raced wide for the majority of the race.
