RACE-6 THE SALISBURY RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1100 METRES (268)
MODENA CREATION (W T PAO) jumped awkwardly with its head up and lost ground.
TESTA FLASH (B YAMZON) jumped awkwardly.
Jockey W L HO the rider of HOPEFULLY RIGHT explained that after jumping only moderately the gelding was unable to lead which is its favored position and although it handled the track conditions, when placed under pressure it did not improve and was disappointing. Trainer J LAU confirmed that the pre-race intention was to lead however when not unable to lead the gelding has performed poorly in the past. He added that in his opinion the gelding performs better when fresh. Due to the unsatisfactory performance, HOPEFULLY RIGHT will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has passed a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
A post race veterinary examination of KA WANG FORTUNE (L CORRALES) revealed that it had cast its right fore plate. Due to the unsatisfactory performance, KA WANG FORTUNE will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has passed a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
A post race veterinary examination of and GOLDEN BULLET (G GIBBONS) failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Due to the unsatisfactory performance, GOLDEN BULLET will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has passed a barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards.
