Race Report

RACE-6 THE BLAKENEY RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (307)
FAIR COMMENT (W SMITH) jumped awkwardly and then lost additional ground when momentarily crowded between LUEN YAT SUCCESS (P HOLMES) and ST LEPIN (B YAMZON).
POWER MORE (H LAM) jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped HAPPY STRENGTH (APPRENTICE C PERKINS), and then lost additional ground when bumped by SPEEDY LEO (T PEREIRA) which was taken outwards by HOSTWIN WINNERS (APPRENTICE C F WONG). Shortly after SPEEDY LEO was buffeted between HOSTWIN WINNERS and HAPPY STRENGTH which was racing tight to the inside of WONDERFUL EXPRESS (M NUNES).
Near the 300 metres WONDERFUL EXPRESS (M NUNES) and MACAU KING (K M CHIN) bumped.
Approaching the 250 metres HAPPY STRENGTH (APPRENTICE C PERKINS) shifted outwards abruptly when struck with the whip.
After the race the veterinary surgeon reported that CARGO MERCHANT (APPRENTICE M CANGAS) had cast its left fore plate.
