Race Report

RACE-3 THE NANNING RATING 50-30 (CLASS 4&5) 1200 METRES (16)
FIERCE WIND HORSE (W L HO) shifted out abruptly on jumping and bumped TURQUOISE DRAGON (H LAM).
AMAZING TREASURE (K F CHOI) jumped awkwardly and then shortly after the start bumped with TURQUOISE DRAGON (H LAM).
Shortly after the start TO CHERISH (APPRENTICE M CANGAS) and FOUR EYES BOBO (M NUNES) bumped. As a consequence SPECTACULAR DREAM (APPRENTICE Y M CHOI) which was racing to their inside was also hampered.
TURQUOISE DRAGON (H LAM) and SHENG LI (B YAMZON) raced wide for the majority of the race.
Jockey K H YU the rider of GOLDEN BULLET pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) in that near the 1000 metres he directed his mount GOLDEN BULLET inwards when insufficiently clear of TO CHERISH (APPRENTICE M CANGAS) resulting in that horse being crowded for room to which it was rightfully entitled and taken in onto CHOIRUNHANGTUNG (K M CHIN) which was checked and further taken in across the rightful running of MY LUCKY BABY (T PEREIRA) which was also checked. He was fined the sum of HK$28,000 in lieu of 4 racemeeting suspensions.
