Race Report

RACE-4 THE GILGANDRA RATING 60-30 (CLASS 3&4) 1600 METRES (444)

1 Luen Yat Supreme (C Grylls) –For some distance in the middle stages was inclined to lay in.
2 Turquoise Song (F Durso) –Rider reported his mount was inclined to lay out.
4 Northern Kid (Apprentice Y M Choi) –Rider reported his mount resented the kickback and was reluctant to race closer that four horses off the rails.
6 Blitzing Eyesight (K M Chin) –In the early stages was inclined to race keenly.

INQUIRY:
When questioned Jockey K M Chin the rider of 6 Blitzing Eyesight explained that racing in blinkers for the first time, his mount had travelled well but became one paced under pressure. He added that in his opinion recent racing might have taken its toll as 6 Blitzing Eyesight was only a three year old.

VETERINARY:
6 Blitzing Eyesight (K M Chin) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
