RACE-5 THE KILLARNEY RATING 50-20 (CLASS 4&5) 1700 METRES (119)

1 Golden Shooter (Apprentice Y M Choi)-
4 Wind Chaser (W L Ho)-Stood flat footed and as a result lost ground. Laid out in the straight.
8 Magnificent Force (R Curatolo)-Broke down near the 800 metres in the left fore fetlock and was humanely euthanized.
9 My Dream (I Mosqueira)-Rounding the home turn was held up for a short distance and then had difficulty in obtaining a clear run until approaching the 200 metres.
10 Strong Wind (C F Chan)-Reared in the barriers, was examined by the Club veterinary surgeons and passed fit to race. Near the 1600 metres shifted in and made contact with the hindquarters of 6 Fortune Target and then had to be steadied off the heels of that gelding.
12 Yu Long Success (W T Pao)-Was slow to begin.

VETERINARY:
1 Golden Shooter (Apprentice Y M Choi)- A post race veterinary examination revealed that the horse was lame in the right foreleg. Trainer K C Tse was advised that 1 Golden Shooter was not permitted to race for 11 days and until the veterinary clearance was produce.
