RACE-5 THE GOOD YEAR RATING 70-40 (CLASS 3) 1800 METRES (205)

2 Pacers Bahhare (W L Ho) – Was unable to be saddled and was a late withdrawal at 4:10pm by the order of the Stewards. Trainers V Chong/K S Wong were informed that the horse will not be permitted to race until it has satisfactorily performed in an official race day trial and must be saddle up in the race day stall and paraded prior to the trial.
5 Riches Treasure (L Corrales) –Disappointing performance;A post race veterinary examination and a swab was ordered by the Stewards.
6 Best Co Tack (M Cangas) –Turning out of the home straight out of the first occasion had to be steadied when racing in restricted.

INQUIRY & RACING INCIDENT :
Approaching the winning post on the first occasion, 10 Treasure Smile (R Curatolo) when racing ungenerously had to be checked off the heels of 8 Nothing To Say (Apprentice Y M Choi) which shifted out slightly after being brushed by 6 Best Co Tack (M Cangas). As the Stewards were of the opinion that the racing manners of 10 Treasure Smile had some bearing on this incident, no action was taken.

VETERINARY:
5 Riches Treasure (L Corrales) –A post race veterinary examination of 5 Riches Treasure which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
