RACE-6 THE SUCCESS RATING 40-20 (CLASS 5) 1500 METRES (213)
This race was rescheduled to start at 10:45pm.

2 My Eternal Flame (L Corrales) –Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground; Laid out throughout the event.
3 Florence Baby (K W Leong) – Disappointing; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
4 It's A Round World (J Horcajada) –Was marginally slow to begin; Raced wide without cover throughout.
7 Dance Day (M Cangas) – Disappointing; Rider reported it did not handle tonight’s track conditions.
9 Golden Cornered (Apprentice Y M Choi) –Shortly after the start shifted at abruptly and then knuckled; Rounding the home turn until near the 250 metres had difficulty obtaining clear running.
11 Wonder Dylan (C F Wong) – Rider explained that the horse raced very keenly throughout the event and compounded badly from the 400 metres; Poor performance; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.

INQUIRY:
Prior to “Correct Weight” Jockey W L Ho the rider of 5 Wind Chaser (3rd placed getter) viewed the patrol film before deciding not to lodge an objection. The Stewards were also satisfied that there was not sufficient grounds for an objection and correct weight was declared.

VETERINARY:
3 Florence Baby (K W Leong) – A post race veterinary examination of 3 Florence Baby which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
11 Wonder Dylan (C F Wong) – A post race veterinary examination of 11 Wonder Dylan which performed poorly was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
