RACE-1 THE HYPERION RATING 50-30 (CLASS 4&5) 1050 METRES (348)

1 River Wave (K H Yu) –On jumping away shifted out and became unbalanced after making contact with 10 Magical Choice.
4 My Cup Of Tea (D Chong) –Was slow to muster speed.
5 Easy Victory (L Salles) –Raced four wide without cover throughout; Near the 400 metres clipped the heels of 9 Gerson which shifted out to avoid the heels of 12 The Precious Prime which shifted out abruptly; As a result knuckled badly with its rider almost being dislodged and losing the use of his stirrup iron; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
9 Gerson (M Cangas) –Was inconvenienced by 12 The Precious Prime near the 400 metres which shifted out.
10 Magical Choice (A Calder) –Shortly after start was tightened for room between 1 River Wave and 4 My Cup Of Tea.
11 Show Smart (W Smith) –Jumped away awkwardly; near the 400 metres was hampered when taken out by 5 Easy Victory.
12 The Precious Prime (H Lam) – Shifted out abruptly when struck with the whip rounding the home turn interfering with a number of runners; Rider H Lam was informed that he would be required to exercise more care when in similar circumstances in future.

VETERINARY:
5 Easy Victory (L Salles) – A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
9 Gerson – The Veterinary Surgeon reported that it had cast its left hind plate.
