RACE-5 THE BOMBAY RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1500 METRES (418)

3 Treasure Smile (R Curatolo) –Disappointing performance; A post race veterinary examination and swab was ordered by the Stewards; Rider reported that his mount failed to handle the heavy going.
4 Eason (R Stewart) –Was marginally slow to begin.
6 Mission Fame (H Lam) –Was slow to muster speed; Rider reported his mount failed to handle the heavy going.
8 Magic Paul (J Cordero) –Poor performance; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards; Rider reported that his mount failed to handle the heavy going.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:

When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of 9 Windsor Arch (D Chong),
Trainer A Ngai explained that the gelding was suited by tonight’s heavy track.

VETERINARY:
3 Treasure Smile (R Curatolo) –A post race veterinary examination of 3 Treasure Smile which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
8 Magic Paul (J Cordero) –A post race veterinary examination of 8 Magic Paul which performed poorly failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
