RACE-6 THE SWINDON RATING 30-0 (CLASS 6) 1800 METRES (137)

3 Star Of Phoenix (I Poullis) -Nearing the 200 metres was severely checked bumping the hindquarters of 9 Top Mountain Hero. (See inquiry)
4 Golden Wai (K H Yu)
5 Destiny Flight (R Maia) -Nearing the 200 metres had to be eased losing ground. (See inquiry).

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
Stewards inquired into interference nearing the 200 metres. Evidence was taken from the riders of 2 Ngwah Sweetheart (Apprentice X C Liang), 3 Star Of Phoenix (I Poullis), 4 Golden Wai (K H Yu), 5 Destiny Flight (R Maia) and 9 Top Mountain Hero (S H Huang). It was established that nearing the 200 metres, 4 Golden Wai shifted in causing 5 Destiny Flight to ease losing ground. Jockey K H Yu the rider of 4 Golden Wai was severely reprimanded and warned that a repetition would lead to a suspension.
It was further established that nearing the 200 metres, 2 Ngwah Sweetheart shifted out and 9 Top Mountain Hero rolled inwards causing 3 Star Of Phoenix to check severely bumping the hindquarters of 9 Top Mountain Hero. Both Jockey S H Huang the rider of 9 Top Mountain Hero and Apprentice X C Liang the rider of 2 Ngwah Sweetheart were severely reprimanded and told to keep their mounts straight in future.
