1 Wonder Mossman (C F Wong) –Disappointing performance; Rider stated the gelding was never comfortable on the particularly heavy track today and was a beaten horse at the top of the straight; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
6 Just In Time (W Smith) –Lost its right fore plate in the run.
13 Let Me Run (L Corrales) –Marginally slow to begin.
14 Unbreakable (L Salles) –Approaching the 200 metres shifted out abruptly making contact with 3 Lucky And Wealthy which was taken out off its course

Jockey L Salles the rider of the rider of 14 Unbreakable was fined the sum of HK$1,000 under MJC Rule 141(ii) for weighing in excess of 2lbs over the allocated weight.
Jockey K H Yu the rider of 5 Easy Money was fined the sum of HK$1,000 under MJC Rule 141(ii) for weighing in excess of 2lbs over the allocated weight.
