RACE-7 THE BLAKENEY RATING 80-60 (CLASS 2&3) 1500 METRES (153)

3 Let Me Run (K K Lai) –In the vicinity of the 1200 metres was inconvenienced when momentarily tightened for room.
11 Happy And Healthy (H Lam) –Passing the 700 metres was obliged to steady off heels.

INQUIRY:
Jockey A Calder the rider of 5 Best Co Tack explained that he had travelled well midfield until the vicinity of the 500 metres where he elected to improve around 6 Luen Yat Freaky (M McNab) which was having its first start as in his opinion that runner would not have taken him into the race. He stated that after committing to improve he was taken wider as 6 Luen Yat Freaky shifted inside him forcing 5 Best Co Tack to work harder than he had intended which in his opinion took its toll in the finish.

VETERINARY:
5 Best Co Tack (A Calder) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
6 Luen Yat Freaky (M McNab) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
