Race Report

RACE-6 THE GOOD HEALTH RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (192)

1 Borrett Boy (J Matthews) –Near the 400 metres was inconvenienced momentarily when attempting to avoid heels.
3 Golden Champ (S G Cho) –Was slow to jump; Approaching the 700 metres and when making the turn was inclined to get its head up and raced ungenerous.
5 Betorregret (C F Chan) –Jumped awkwardly and after brushing 4 Tiger Exceed became unbalanced, shifted in making contact with 8 Sunshine Mighty and thereafter raced greenly for some distance.
6 La Cappella (A Calder) –Near the 600 metres was inconvenienced when brushed; Was hampered when tightened for room.
8 Sunshine Mighty (Apprentice Y M Choi) –Shortly after the start became very unbalanced when contacted.
9 Power Purdey (R Curatolo) –Near the 200 metres was inconvenienced momentarily when avoiding heels.
10 Sunshine Dragon (H Lam) –Near the 600 metres when inclined to lay in became awkward on heels for some distance.
11 My Cup of Tea (B Yamzon) –Was slow to jump.
12 Turquoise Dragon (W L Ho) –Rider dislodged on the way to the barriers and stood down by the Club’s Medical Officer; Subsequently the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of the horse at 4:39pm.

VETERINARY:
2 Golden Bullet (K H Yu) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 Betorregret (C F Chan) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality other than the horse had cast its left fore plate.
6 La Cappella (A Calder) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
