RACE-5 THE BURY RATING 80+ (CLASS 1) 1200 METRES (251)

2 Lucky Twin Star (Apprentice C F Wong) –Near the 1000 metres was awkward for a number of strides.
3 Just In Time (C Perkins) –Shortly after the start was inconvenienced when brushed.
5 Hostwin Challenge (R Curatolo) –Shortly after the start was inconvenienced when tightened against 3 Just In Time.

INQUIRY:
Jockey L Corrales the rider 1 Lucky Jai explained his mount had travelled well during the race and let down well in the straight however in his opinion approaching the finish the weight carried had commenced to take effect.

VETERINARY:
2 Lucky Twin Star (Apprentice C F Wong) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
7 Smiling Happy (W L Ho) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer J Lau was informed that he would be required to present the horse to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 23rd March 2014.
