Race Report

RACE-4 THE PAEROA RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1050 METRES (112)

1 Golden Champ (I Mosqueira) –Proved difficult to load, Trainer K Seo was notified that a warning had been placed against the horse and should it perform in a similar manner in future further action may be taken.
4 Brave Flying Hawk (L Corrales) –Was extremely difficult to load; Trainer Y C Fung was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial;Due to these incidents the start of the race was significantly delayed; Hung out rounding the home turn.
8 Diamond Rocket (W L Ho) –Hung out in the straight.
12 Brilliant River (K W Leong) –Stood flat footed and lost ground.

VETERINARY:
2 Windicatorr (M Cangas) –A post race veterinary examination revealed that the horse was lame in the left foreleg. Trainer C Marshall was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary clearance is produced.
6 River Wave (Apprentice Y M Choi) –The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse had cast its right hind plate.
5 Golden Vitality (J Horcajada) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
