RACE-5 THE BRIGHT STAR RATING 95-70 (CLASS 1&2) 1200 METRES (131)
2 Sunshine Tacker (L Corrales) – Rider L Corrales reported that his mount travelled well throughout the event however failed to respond to his riding in straight.
3 Healthy Life (C Perkins) – Was very slow to begin. Trainer K S Cheong was advised a warning against the gelding and should it perform in a similar manner in future further action may be taken.
5 Master Kabiddi (C F Chan) – Rider C F Chan reported that the gelding which performed poorly did not appreciate today’s heavy track condition.
7 My Pony (W T Pao) – Raced four wide without cover.
8 Best Season (K W Leong) - Was slow to begin.
9 Captain Sunshine (M Cangas) – On jumping away had to be eased when tightened for room between 11 Lobor Treasure (Apprentice K Y Wong) and 12 Power Alkhafif (Apprentice Y M Choi) which shifted out abruptly.

Inquiry :
Prior to correct weight, Stewards viewed the official race footage of the start to ascertain whether 3 Healthy Life had been denied a fair start. It was established when the gates were released 3 Healthy Life threw it’s head and was very slow to begin. As such, correct weight was declared.
