RACE-7 THE SANTA CLAUS RATING 50-30 (CLASS 4&5) 1500 METRES (133)
1 Florence Baby - A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Turquoise Heart (C Perkins) – C Perkins explained that the gelding did not travel well through the going and after blundering near the 600 metres he became concerned with the horse’s action and for this reason he elected to shift wider on the track in search of better going. Perkins added that as he still was concerned with 4 Turquoise Heart’s action he eased down in the straight. Veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer G Allendorf was informed that he would be required to present the horse to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 28th December 2014.
5 Gold And Silver (A Calder) – Was slow into stride.
8 Smart Ebony (K W Leong) – Jumped away awkwardly and lost ground.
11 Delight Consul (Apprentice K Y Wong) – Jumped away awkwardly. Brushed the inside gate and resulted in losing significant ground.
