Race Report

RACE-3 THE KOREA RACING AUTHORITY GOODWILL TROPHY RATING 80-60 (CLASS 2&3) 1100 METRES (378)
The start was delayed when CHARMING BEIJING (W T PAO) proved difficult to load. A warning was placed on the horse.
FANTASTICPRIVILEGE (B YAMZON), NORTHERN KID (H LAM), SILK CUT (APPRENTICE Y M CHOI) and GOLDEN SHOOTER (L JURADO) jumped awkwardly.
TWINING OCEAN BOBO (M NUNES) jumped awkwardly, shifted out and bumped TIN ALLOY (K F CHOI).
Near the 700 metres HAPPY BROTHERS (L CORRALES) which was hanging out got its head up when being steadied away from the heels of DYNASTY TREASURE (APPRENTICE M CANGAS).
Near the 300 metres HAPPY BROTHERS (L CORRALES) was checked when crowded between GOLDEN SHOOTER (L JURADO) which shifted in slightly despite the efforts of its rider and TIN ALLOY (K F CHOI) which shifted out slightly whilst racing greenly. In all the circumstances no action was taken.
In the early part of the straight EASY MONEY (A HELFENBEIN) had difficulty obtaining clear running.
Near the 50 metres EASY MONEY (A HELFENBEIN) was steadied to avoid the heels of TIN ALLOY (K F CHOI) which shifted in when under pressure. In all the circumstances and considering Jockey K F CHOI’s clean record in relation to interference matters, Jockey K F CHOI was issued with a reprimand.
Approaching the winning post FANTASTICPRIVILEGE (B YAMZON) which was finishing quickly was steadied and taken outwards to obtain clear running.
HAPPY BROTHERS (L CORRALES) suffered a bleeding attack.
A post race veterinary examination of SCANDICMASTER (F DURSO) at the jockey’s request failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
A post race veterinary examination of HAPPY BROTHERS (L CORRALES) found the horse to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer G ALLENDORF was advised that HAPPY BROTHERS will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is provided.
