Race Report

RACE-2 THE CANBERRA RATING 30-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1800 METRES (75)
SLEEPING PRINCESS (K W LEONG), KWOK DOR (K H YU) and DRAGON ONE (T PEREIRA) jumped awkwardly.
Near the 1400 metres SILVER ALLOY (K M CHIN) raced in restricted room between YINGS FAN CLUB (L CORRALES) and LITTLE DRAGON FLY (L JURADO) which shifted in slightly.
Near the 1300 metres KWOK DOR (K H YU) was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of YINGS FAN CLUB (L CORRALES).
Near the 300 metres SILVER ALLOY (K M CHIN) and YINGS FAN CLUB (L CORRALES) bumped on a number of occasions.
A post race veterinary examination of LITTLE DRAGON FLY (L JURADO) revealed that the gelding was making abnormal respiratory noises. Trainer S CHOW was informed to present LITTLE DRAGON FLY to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination and an endoscopic examination on Sunday, 21st October 2012. In addition he was informed that LITTLE DRAGON FLY will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until the horse has passed a barrier trial and a veterinary certificate is produced.
