5 Beautiful Illusion (R Curatolo)-In the vicinity of 1300 metres made heavy contact.
6 Dance Day (A Helfenbein)- In the vicinity of 1300 metres made heavy contact.
9 Super Dan (K H Yu)-Was slow to jump.

INQUIRY:
Apprentice C F Wong the rider of 8 Sunshine Cheer Up explained that he had been instructed to race forward if possible. However he said his mount had showed no pace from the gate despite his riding and in order to fulfill his instructions he had taken his mount to sit outside the leader when racing down the back straight. C F Wong added that in the straight his mount had battled fairly.
