RACE-1 THE HETHERSETT RATING 40-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1800 METRES (61)

2 Magnificent Force (L Corrales) –Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.
4 Turquoise Fly (H Lam) –Raced wide during the early stages before taking up a position closer to the rails near the 1200 metres.
6 Mighty Thor (Apprentice C F Wong) –Bounded in the air as the gates were released and lost ground.
8 Cargo Money (W T Pao) –Was marginally slow to begin.

INQUIRY:
Jockey I Mosqueira the rider of 5 My Dream was questioned as to why he went forward today which is in contrast to its most recent racing pattern. Jockey I Mosqueria explained that although he had been instructed to be positive out of the barriers, it was then his intentions to allow 5 My Dream to settle where it was comfortable. He further explained that due to lack of speed in today’s event, 5 My Dream settled in a more forward position than that of its most recent runs.

VETERINARY:
4 Turquoise Fly (H Lam) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K S Ho was informed that he would be required to present the horse to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 2nd November 2014 and in addition, the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed in a barrier trial.
