Race Report

RACE-1 THE SCONE RATING 55-0 (CLASS 4,5&6) 1200 METRES (147)
At 1:25pm Trainer S H Cheong advised Stewards that he would be instructing rider K W Leong to settled 4 Brilliant River more forward today if circumstances permit.

1 Korean Dream (M Cangas) –Shifted out on jumping away and made contact with 3 Glory Moment and was then brushed by 9 Concentration which shifted out; Raced keenly in the early and middle stages.
3 Glory Moment (W L Ho) – At the start bumped by 1 Korean Dream which shifted out; Rider reported that the gelding which was having its first start today raced greenly and did not respond to his riding. Underwent a post race veterinary examination ordered by the Stewards.
4 Brilliant River (K W Leong) –Failed to muster sufficient speed and settled at the rear of the field.
7 Lithium Alloy (B Yamzon) –Race wide throughout.
8 Super Buffet (L Salles) –Difficult to load delaying the start of the race. Became unbalanced shortly after the start when bumped by 2 War Heights which shifted out.
Trainer M C Tam was advised that the warning was being placed on the gelding for barrier manners and should it perform in a similar manner in future, further action may be taken.

VETERINARY:
3 Glory Moment (W L Ho) –A post race veterinary examination of 3 Glory Moment which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
4 Brilliant River (K W Leong) –The Veterinary Surgeon reported that the horse had suffered a bleeding attack.
