3 Energy Gladiator (R Curatolo) –Raced wide without cover.
4 Best Co Tack (K W Leong) –Was disappointing; Rider could offer no real explanation; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
7 Charity Group (W T Pao) –Marginally slow to begin.
10 General's Steed (B Yamzon) – Near the 1200 metres had to be steadied off the heels of 6 Golden Harbour which was taken out slightly by 5 Diamond Star. For some distance rounding the home turn was held up when unable to obtain clear running.

4 Best Co Tack (K W Leong) –A post race veterinary examination of 4 Best Co Tack which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
