RACE-2 THE MANCHESTER RATING 50-30 (CLASS 4&5) 1200 METRES (325)

4 My Dream Come True (C Perkins) –Poor performance; Rider explained that approaching the 800 metres he had to steady his mount when placed in restricted room for a short distance which placed him further back than he would have wished; He added that thereafter his mount traveled well to the finish; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
5 War Heights (W Smith) –Rider could offer no explanation for the disappointing performance; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
6 Big Success (K H Yu) –Jumped away awkwardly.

INQUIRY:
Jockey W L Ho the rider of 2 China Cheers pleaded guilty to charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) in that approaching the 1000 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of 6 Big Success (K H Yu) which was tightened for room between that gelding and 8 Dance Day (R Stewart) and as a result had to be checked. Jockey W L Ho was suspended from riding in races for a period of 2 racemeetings being 28th June and 3rd July 2015 and this to be served cumulatively with his upcoming suspension for the meetings of 19th & 20th June 2015. In arriving at penalty, the Stewards took into account Jockey W L Ho’s guilty plea and his recent record. He will resume riding for the racemeeting of Saturday, 4th July 2015. He was advised of his Right of Appeal.

4 My Dream Come True (C Perkins) –A post race veterinary examination of 4 My Dream Come True which performed poorly failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
5 War Heights (W Smith) –A post race veterinary examination of 5 War Heights which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
