1 Chinese Scholar (H Lam) -Disappointing; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
5 Power Alkhafif (B Yamzon) -Performed poorly; Rider reported his mount would appreciate more give in the ground; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
6 Chief Pegasus (M Cangas) -Performed below margin expectations; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
12 River God Choi (K W Leong) -Laid out and raced wide without cover.

INQUIRY:
When questioned as to why 2 Lobor Treasure (C Perkins) was able to obtain a run to his inside passing the 600 metres, Jockey W L Ho explained that his mount did have some tendency to lay out which allowed 2 Lobor Treasure (C Perkins) to improve to his inside and for this reason he was then unable to cross down the rail as he was not clear of that horse.

VETERINARY:
1 Chinese Scholar (H Lam) A post race veterinary examination of 1 Chinese Scholar which was disappointing performance failed to reveal any significant abnormality
5 Power Alkhafif (B Yamzon) -A post race veterinary examination of 5 Power Alkhafif which performed poorly failed to reveal any significant abnormality
6 Chief Pegasus (M Cangas)- A post race veterinary examination of 6 Chief Pegasus which performed poorly revealed that the horse had suffered a bleeding attack.
