RACE-4 THE MACAU RACE HORSE OWNERS ASSOCIATION BOWL RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1500 METRES (441)

1 Mission Well (H Lam) –Poor performance; Rider stated his mount did not handle today’s going.
2 Ag Kingdom (W Smith) –Was slow to begin.
3 My Masterpiece (K W Leong) –Raced wide without cover; Was eased down in the straight; Poor performance; Rider felt that there was something amiss with his mount’s right shoulder; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards and Trainer K S Ho was informed that he would be required to present 3 My Masterpiece to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 31st August 2015 and that it will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
6 Happy And Healthy (J Cordero) –Was slow to begin (1L).
7 Luck Of The Dragon (L Salles) –2nd placed getter; Rider was severely reprimanded for not riding his mount fully to the end of the race; In arriving at this decision, the Stewards did not believe his actions affected the result of the race.
8 My Favourites (C F Chan) –Hung out rounding the turn near the 1200 metres and in the back straight; Raced wide without cover.

VETERINARY:
3 My Masterpiece (K W Leong)–A post race veterinary examination of 3 My Masterpiece which performed poorly failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
