Race Report

RACE-5 THE DHARWAD RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1500 METRES (52)
Mighty Thor (K H Yu), Winner Winner (T Pereira) and Turquoise Dane (L Corrales) jumped awkwardly.
Near the 700 metres Sunshine Dragon (K K Lai) which was over racing shifted out and bumped Toy's Ball (L Jurado).
Near the 700 metres Mighty Thor (K H Yu) became unbalanced and shifted out when momentarily racing in restricted room to the inside of Amazing Eagle (M Nunes).
Approaching the 700 metres Winner Winner (T Pereira) which was over racing was steadied when awkwardly placed closed to the heels of Flying Horse (Apprentice Y M Choi).
Near the 300 metres K K Lai the rider of Sunshine Dragon accidently had his whip knocked from his grasp by the whip of the rider of Tin Alloy which shifted out slightly under pressure. Sunshine Dragon then hung in for the remainder of the race and proved difficult to ride out.
Flying Horse (Apprentice Y M Choi), Winner Winner (T Pereira) and Toy's Ball (L Jurado) raced wide for the majority of the race.
A post race veterinary examination of Toy's Ball (L Jurado) at the requested of the jockey failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer S Chow was instructed to present Toy's Ball to the veterinary clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Monday, 8 October 2012.
A post race veterinary examination of Amazing Eagle (M Nunes) failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
