Race Report

RACE-3 THE RAIN LOVER RATING 40-20 (CLASS 5) 1200 METRES (103)
DIAMOND PRINCESSES (K W LEONG), TURQUOISE DRAGON (H LAM) and BEST (K F CHOI)
jumped awkwardly.
Approaching the 700 metres BARCELONA RUN (K L LEI) commenced to hang out despite the efforts of its rider and shifted out abruptly. Shortly after DIAMOND PRINCESSES (K W LEONG) commenced to hang out and did so for the remainder of the race. Trainer PAT LEE was informed that in view of their racing manners, both BARCELONA RUN and DIAMOND PRINCESSES will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until they pass a barrier trial.
After the race the Veterinary Surgeon reported that IDEA OF THE GOOD (W L HO) had cast its right fore plate and BEST (K F CHOI) had suffered a bleeding attack.
A post race veterinary examination of TURQUOISE DRAGON (H LAM) at the request of its rider failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer V CHONG was informed that he would be required to present TURQUOISE DRAGON to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough examination on Monday, 12th November 2012.
