Race Report

RACE-1 THE RISING FAST RATING 30-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1500 METRES (101)
Prior to the event, Trainer G W MOORE informed the Stewards that it was his intention to have HAPPY SCHOOL BOY (M CANGAS) ridden forward if possible.
HAPPY SCHOOL BOY (M CANGAS) jumped awkwardly.
On jumping ICELAKE (K F CHOI) and KAWAII (H LAM) were crowded between MODENA STYLE (APPRENTICE Y M CHOI) and TIGER TIGER (K W LEONG), both of which shifted ground.
Near the 700 metres WONDERFUL FORTUNE (K L LEI) was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FORTUNE PARTNERS (W L HO) which hung in slightly.
Rounding the home turn HAPPY DOUBLE (M NUNES) was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of MODENA STYLE (APPRENTICE Y M CHOI) which shifted in slightly whilst giving ground.
After the 300 metres LITTLE DRAGON FLY (B YAMZON) and HAPPY SCHOOL BOY (M CANGAS) bumped on a number of occasions.
LITTLE DRAGON FLY (B YAMZON) shifted out under pressure over the concluding stages.
GLORY OF LOTUS (L JURADO) and DRAGON ONE (T PEREIRA) raced wide for the majority of the race.
A post race veterinary examination of DRAGON ONE (T PEREIRA) revealed the horse was severely lame in the left foreleg. Trainer PAT LEE was informed that DRAGON ONE will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has passed a barrier trial and a veterinary clearance is produced.
A post race veterinary examination of DECENT MASTER (K M CHIN) revealed has suffered a bleeding attack.
Mr. W T LAI the Trainer of ICELAKE (K F CHOI) and Mr. PAT LEE the trainer of KAWAII (H LAM)
were informed that their horses would not be permitted to race for 11 days and until they have passed a barrier trial.
