Race Report

RACE-5 THE PHAROS RATING 40-20 (CLASS 5) 1500 METRES (352)

1 So True So Fake (R Stewart) –Race three wide before obtaining near the 700 metres; Rider was unable to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
2 Wind Chaser (L Corrales) – Near the 1200 metres when over racing had to be steadied off heels; Approaching the winning post was disappointing for a run between 11 Vitality Pioneer and 6 Super Buffet before switching back to the inside to obtain clear running.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
Leaving the 700 metres 2 Wind Chaser after improving into a tight run had to be steadied when tightened by 10 Tornado Force which shifted in slightly away from 3 Dance Day (M Cangas) which also shifted in slightly at that stage. In all the circumstances, the Stewards took no action however advised all riders to exercise utmost care at all times.

VETERINARY:
1 So True So Fake (R Stewart) –A post race veterinary examination of 1 So True So Fake which was disappointing failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
