RACE-3 THE GRAND STAND RATING 40-20 (CLASS 5) 1350 METRES (422)

1 Modena Success (A Calder) –Was slow to begin; Near the 600 metres was inconvenienced due to the fallen horse.
2 Wicked Cool (R Curatolo) –Passing the 600 metres broke down in both front legs and fell; Was subsequently euthanased.
3 Yummy Yummy (K H Yu) –Laid out rounding the home turn.
5 Rockin Laser (L Corrales) –Near the 600 metres was hampered when 2 Wicked Cool fell.
7 Modena World (R Stewart) –Made the turn near the 1200 metres awkwardly.
8 Golden Tictac (Apprentice Y M Choi) –Jumped awkwardly.
9 The Valiant Prime (W L Ho) –Trainer Pat Lee was informed in view of the pre race behavior of the horse, it will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial and at which time it will be required to parade and be ridden to the barriers.

VETERINARY:
8 Golden Tictac (Apprentice Y M Choi) –A post race veterinary examination of 8 Golden Tictac which performed poorly revealed that the horse was lame in the left foreleg; Trainer K C Tse was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is produced.
9 The Valiant Prime (W L Ho) –A post race veterinary examination of 9 The Valiant Prime which performed poorly failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
