Race Report

RACE-4 THE GALIVANTER (DIVISION 2) RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1400 METRES (381)
At 3:28pm Mr. Y C Fung the trainer of 13 Golden Double (K M Chin) advised Stewards that from the wide barrier he had instructed Jockey K M Chin to sit behind and ride quietly.

At 3:29pm Mr. G Allendorf the trainer of 10 Golden Well Bo Bo (A Calder) advised Stewards that from its outside barrier draw (13) from this starting point, he would instruct Jockey A Calder to ride 10 Golden Well Bo Bo back in field and attempt to find the fence if possible in an endeavour to have the horse which was having its first start at 1400 metres its best opportunity to finish the race off in a strong manner.

1 Elegance Energy (Lei Kin Meng) -From the 500 metres commenced to give ground.
2 Pride Of Triomphe (F Durso) -On jumping away was inclined to rear and as a consequence the rider became unbalanced; Shortly after the start was hampered and lost its position when tightened for room.
3 Super Giant Star (W L Ho) -Raced wide without cover for the majority of the event.
9 Sunshine Rhythm (L Jurado) -From the 100 metres was inclined to lay out.
10 Golden Well Bo Bo (A Calder) -Inclined to race keenly in the early stages.
14 Choice Rock (K Abobo) -Cast its left hind plate.

VETERINARY:
1 Elegance Energy (Lei Kin Meng) -A post race veterinary examination revealed that it had suffered a bleeding attack.
2 Pride Of Triomphe (F Durso) -A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality other than it had sustained a speedy cut to left hind leg and had cast its right fore plate.
