RACE-2 THE MILESIAN (DIV.2) (TURF) RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (301)

4 My Target (C Perkins) –Which had been restless in the stalls reared as the gates opened and was then reluctant to jump missing the start. Trainer Pat Lee was informed that a warning had been placed against the horse for its barrier manners.
6 So True So Fake (R Silvera) –Jumped very awkwardly.
7 Hand By Hand (R Curatolo) –Was slow to jump.
11 Smart Ebony (H Lam) –Reared as the gates opened and then jumped awkwardly and as a consequence was slow to jump. Trainer K S Ho was informed that he would be required to present the horse for a full veterinary examination on Sunday, 27th April 2014.

INQUIRY:
Jockey W L Ho the rider of 1 River Forever which was having its second race start explained the horse had travelled well in running but under pressure have come off the bridle quicker than he had expected. He said that in his opinion 1 River Forever would be improved by racing experience and reported he had discussed with Trainer W T Lai in adding blinkers to the horse’s gear.

VETERINARY:
1 River Forever (W L Ho) –A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
