RACE-1 THE ROAN ROCKET RATING 30-0 (CLASS 5&6) 1500 METRES (384)
This race was rescheduled to start at 8:20pm.

1 Double Success (W Smith) –Raced keenly through the early stages.
3 Overcome Challenge (K W Leong) –Raced four wide throughout;
5 Cargo Money (R Stewart) –Performed below market expectations; Rider could offer no real excuses for the run tonight; A post race veterinary examination was ordered by the Stewards.
6 Sheng Li Grand (H Lam) –Was slow to begin (1L);
7 Delight Consul (W L Ho) –Was slow to begin (1L); Passing the 600 metres to the 400 metres was held up when unable to improve its position; Performed below market expectations; Rider stated that his mount was not comfortable in the kickback;
8 Shadow Master (K H Yu) –Was marginally slow to begin and was then hampered between 1 Double Success and 9 Kao's Star, both of which shifted ground.

RACING INCIDENT & INQUIRY:
When questioned regarding the apparent improved performance of the winner 9 Kao's star (D Chong), Trainer S Chow explained that the gelding had suffered from some hoof problems in the past however had recovered and he believed that this could be the reason for the gelding’s better showing today.

VETERINARY:
5 Cargo Money (R Stewart) –A post race veterinary examination of 5 Cargo Money which performed below market expectations failed to reveal any significant abnormality;
