RACE-2 CHAIRMAN'S CHALLENGE CUP (GROUP 1) (TURF) OPEN 1200 METRES (344)
2 Lucky Twin Star (Z Purton)-Approaching the 300 metres was obliged to steady away from heels.
6 Regal Flame (M Cangas)-Was slow into stride was then taken across the back of the field to take a position close to the inside rail.
8 Sunshine Tacker (C Perkins)-Shortly after the start was hampered when contacted heavily unbalancing its rider for several strides.
11 Great Tiger (Apprentice Y M Choi)-Jumped awkwardly and was inconvenienced as it struck the outside gate.
13 Scandicmaster (H Lam)-Trainer S Chow was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until it has performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial.
14 Win Smoothly (J Moreira)-Shortly after the start shifted out and made heavy contact with 8 Sunshine Tacker (C Perkins).

INQUIRY:
The Stewards inquired into the circumstances in which 2 Lucky Twin Star (Z Purton) was to steady approaching the 300 metres. It was established that 8 Sunshine Tacker (C Perkins) when improving shifted out into the running of 2 Lucky Twin Star requiring Jockey Z Purton to steady. Jockey C Perkins was reprimanded and advised in future to take greater care when shifting ground.

VETERINARY:
2 Lucky Twin Star (Z Purton)-A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality.
