RACE-3 MACAO GAMING SHOW CUP RACE SERIES (HEAT 2) RATING 70-50 (CLASS 3) 1500 METRES (51)

1 Riches Treasure (M Cangas) –Shortly after the start was eased when tightened for room between 6 Ag Kingdom and 12 Haayil Shadow which was taken out slightly by 4 Diamond Star .
2 Classical Music (Apprentice Y M Choi) –Raced wide throughout.
3 Sunshine Stormy (K W Leong) –Examined behind the barriers at the rider’s request and passed fit to race; Raced wide throughout.
5 Energy Gladiator (B Yamzon) –Near the 800 metres was bumped by 12 Haayil Shadow.
7 Lego Figure (J Horcajada) –Near the 700 metres shifted out and bumped 11 Total Management .
8 Come Easy (Suraj Narredu) –Jumped awkwardly; Raced wide rounding the home turn.
10 Windsor Arch Three (H Lam) –Raced wide rounding the first turn.
11 Total Management (W L Ho) –Near the 700 metres was bumped by 7 Lego Figure.
12 Haayil Shadow (W T Pao) –Was hampered and taken out shortly after the start by 4 Diamond Star; Near the 800 metres over raced and bumped 5 Energy Gladiator.

INQUIRY:
When questioned regarding the performance of 1 Riches Treasure, Jockey M Cangas explained that after receiving some minor interference after the start 1 Riches Treasure never travelled comfortably throughout the race. He added when he placed 1 Riches Treasure under pressure at the entrance to the home straight the gelding only responded fairly and proved disappointing. He further added that in his opinion 1 Riches Treasure was not aided by the good track today.

Jockey Suraj Narredu the rider of 8 Come Easy was reminded of his obligations to ride his mounts fully to the finish line.

VETERINARY:
1 Riches Treasure (M Cangas) – A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormality. Trainer K C Wong was informed to present the horse to the Veterinary Clinic for a thorough veterinary examination on Sunday, 19th October 2014.
2 Classical Music (Apprentice Y M Choi) – A post race veterinary examination revealed that the horse was found to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer K H Leong was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is produced.
5 Energy Gladiator (B Yamzon) – A post race veterinary examination revealed that the horse was found to be lame in the right foreleg. Trainer K C Wong was informed that the horse will not be permitted to race for 11 days and until a veterinary certificate is produced.
