Race Report

RACE-7 THE COURT MARTIAL (DIVISION – 2) RATING 60-40 (CLASS 3&4) 1200 METRES (7)
RIVERSIDE (R J PEREZ) jumped awkwardly, shifted outwards and bumped GREAT TIGER (K W LEONG). RIVERSIDE then shifted inwards and bumped ALUMINIUM ALLOY (M NUNES).
Jockey C W CHOI the rider of FOREST pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under MJC Rule 132 (i) the particulars being that passing the 800 metres he permitted his mount to shift in when insufficiently clear of GOOD UNCLE (K H YU) which had to be checked. He was suspended from riding in races for the racemeeting of 3rd October 2010 and fined the sum of HK$3,500 in lieu of one additional racemeeting. He was advised of his Right of Appeal at 10:02pm .
Near the 700 metres GREAT TIGER (K W LEONG) was obliged to race in restricted room between TEST OF TIME (W L HO) and LUEN YAT BRILLIANT (LEI KIN MENG).
Approaching the 600 metres BEST REPUTED HORSE (H LAM) improved onto the heels of ELEGANCE ELITE (W T PAO) and had to be steadied.
Approaching the 600 metres GOOD UNCLE (K H YU) shifted out abruptly inconveniencing GENIAL (K L LEI).
Subsequent to the race, swab samples were taken from GOLDEN BULLET (K HERCOCK) and LUEN YAT BRILLIANT (LEI KIN MENG).
